Dear OLMCA Families & Friends:

The relatively relaxed July workload allowed me to take a deep dive into our 2019 Aspire standardized test data. I am very pleased to report that our students performed at the highest levels, yet again!

OLMCA prides itself on being a school that produces well-rounded, faith-filled students. Our staff believes our mission goes beyond just academic growth and understands that high test scores are only one measure of success. However, standardized test scores are important indicators of schools' overall success.

Our staff analyzes the testing data through various lenses, from the individual student level,  grade level, to school-wide scores. I am particularly interested in how OLMCA test scores compared with national and local averages. This is where OLMCA students and staff really shine!

As you can see from the table below, OLMCA students' scores outpace the national average, Archdiocesan average, and the Vicariate 2 (nearby Catholic Schools) average.

OLMCA scores are higher in all TWENTY-FOUR  points of comparison, six grade levels, and four subjects.

There can be no doubt that OLMCA students have some of the highest test scores in the entire City of Chicago.

I encourage you to share this news with your friends, family, co-workers,
alumni, and neighbors.

I encourage you to forward this HomeLink far and wide to help spread this outstanding news.

I encourage you to share on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.

Sincerely,

Principal Shane Staszcuk
