Dear Patients and Families,

Over the past 11 years, it has been one of the greatest privileges of my career to care for you and your families — through adolescence, young adulthood, and all the transitions in between. Together, we’ve navigated growth, identity, mental health, relationships, school, work, sports, and the ever-evolving digital world.

What we’ve built has always been about more than medicine. It’s been about relationships. It’s been about trust. It’s been about creating a space where you feel known, understood, and supported.

That philosophy has shaped the way I practice — and it’s exactly what I’m building next.

I’m excited to share that I will be launching a new practice:

BAM! Health

Blankson Adolescent + Young Adult Medicine

14800 Landmark Blvd, Suite 260

Dallas, TX 75254

BAM! Health will officially begin seeing patients on June 30, 2026.

This next chapter is an opportunity to create something even more intentional — a practice built around what I believe adolescents, young adults, and families deserve most:

Relational Medicine.

Relational Medicine means taking the time to truly know each patient — not just their medical history, but the full context of their life: family, school, work, relationships, and the digital world they navigate every day. It means thoughtful, individualized care in areas like mental health, attention, motivation, and identity development. It means a partnership that feels collaborative, respectful, and genuinely growth-oriented.

It is, honestly, the way I have always practiced and want to continue to practice — and BAM! Health is being built from the ground up to make that possible.

What makes this work feel natural to me is that I’m not observing adolescent life from a distance — I’m living it. As the father of three teenage daughters, I navigate many of the same pressures, platforms, and conversations that my patients bring into the exam room every day. I’ve spent years immersed in youth culture — including hosting an international gaming conference — because I believe that understanding the world adolescents and young adults actually inhabit is part of what it means to care for them well.

And in an era when AI is reshaping so much of how medicine is delivered, my commitment is to ensure that the human element — the relationship, the conversation, the genuine knowing of a patient over time — remains at the center of everything we do.

The care you receive will feel familiar — because it is. What’s changing is the experience around it. BAM! Health is designed with your time in mind: more efficient, more convenient, and free from the friction that comes with a traditional insurance-based practice. We will continue to work directly with patients and families — no insurance billing — which keeps the focus where it belongs: on your visit, not on paperwork.

Same thoughtful care. Updated look and feel. A setup built to respect your time.

If you have an existing summer appointment already scheduled, we will be in touch with details about the transition.

Transitions always bring change — but my commitment to you does not. I look forward to continuing this journey with many of you, and I want to make this transition as seamless as possible for every patient and family — whether you choose to join me at BAM! Health or continue your care elsewhere.
