Student and staff safety is a top priority at Piedmont Schools. Administrators at Piedmont High School were notified of a possible threat made in writing in a bathroom stall at the high school. The Federal Bureau of Investigation and local law enforcement have been contacted in regards to this threat. Local law enforcement is currently investigating this situation. During this investigation, students and staff are on lockdown. Students will not be permitted to enter or leave the building.
All threats at Piedmont Public Schools are investigated promptly and thoroughly. We will continue to be vigilant regarding this situation and any other potential security concerns. As always, we encourage our students and families to report any questionable behaviors.
