Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Please know that I am praying for you as you continue to navigate the COVID environment. It is for this reason that I address you. PLEASE pray for your brothers as they seek wisdom on how to lead their congregations. COVID is spreading. We have been informed that the health systems in some areas may soon be overwhelmed with COVID patients. The disease is real, people are being re-infected, doctors are talking more about complications that come later—after presumed healing—with patients of ALL ages. Brothers, we are not to be afraid of the disease, but we do need to demonstrate continued care, love, and respect for all people in our communities. Please keep all this in mind as you look ahead to worship this weekend and beyond.

"The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen" 1 Peter 4:7 (NIV).

May God bless you all with continued wisdom, love for our Lord, and love for His people.

Sincerely,

President Maier
