The SoCalREN team is dedicated to serving program participants, including Multifamily Program Participating Contractors. We understand you may have concerns about your projects and participation at this time. We are providing this update to address your questions and share resources and safety information.
For everyone's health and safety, we have paused all field activities (such as onsite assessments and audits) for the Multifamily Program, effective immediately. However, we will continue to work with you and support your projects through remote technologies (such as teleconferences or web-conference) as applicable to maintain project momentum and to ensure that your multifamily customers remain served. Our team is actively monitoring the situation, and
we expect to resume normal business operations, including all field activities, on April 13. We request that you refrain from performing any program work at customer facilities until that time.
We recognize that this hiatus may have an impact on your business over the short term, but we want to reiterate that the SoCalREN Multifamily Program will continue to be implemented and is fully funded for 2020. Our hope is to commit the entire incentive budget as we work to meet our annual energy savings goals. Last, and most importantly, we are working on closing out all 2019 completed projects and ensuring that all incentive applications are paid out by March 31, 2020.
We will continue to keep you informed if plans change as a result of this unprecedented health concern.
