Update to the Fire Safety message sent on Aug. 30, 2019

Attention child care providers:

On Aug. 30, 2019 the department issued a message to all child care providers regarding fire safety.

The information you are receiving today again emphasizes the importance of maintaining an operable fire detection system in your facility, being able to demonstrate operability when the certification representative inspects your facility, and provides information regarding the plan of correction if you cannot demonstrate or provide documentation of an operable fire detection system. Update to the message sent on Aug. 30, 2019.
