We have all been going through such challenging times. In addition to all the necessary health and safety communications, I want to make sure we are also highlighting positive news throughout our Village.
We are embarking on a holiday weekend for many of our residents and I wish everyone a Happy Passover and Happy Easter. I encourage you to enjoy this time with family, while continuing to follow recommendations for staying at home and not gathering in groups. It is unfortunate we must follow these guidelines over the holidays, but the sooner we flatten the curve, the sooner we can look forward to life getting back to normal.
I am proud of how our Village and our community has come together during this time. While Village staff is working remotely and in modified ways due to COVID-19, they are getting the job done to provide our community with core services. Communications are being provided daily with updates on the latest news and information to keep you and your family safe.
Our community has come together, too. There are many examples of people helping and supporting one another, along with several of our businesses making donations of vital supplies to our first responders. I am grateful to everyone who is supporting our community during this time.
There are many businesses in Buffalo Grove, and we need to help them right now by supporting them.
