Dear Church Family,
For the last 7 months, we have “worshipped the Lord in the beauty of holiness” (Psalm 96:9) together, in person, as a body of believers, while also continuing to stream Sunday services online. We thank God for the manifest presence of God in each service. The health and safety of all those entering our building is a top priority and, with the Lord’s help, we follow the CDC guidelines and protocols for social distancing and disinfecting.
Currently, however, Dutchess and Putnam counties are in the midst of a significant rise in COVD-19 cases. With that said, we have made the difficult but necessary decision to suspend all services and meetings for the next 3 weeks, including Sunday morning services. We plan to reopen on Sunday, February 14, for the 9am, 10:30am, and Noon worship services, making a determination regarding midweek services and meetings at that time. This is a precautionary and pre-emptive move in an effort to keep our church family healthy.
While we will miss gathering in person, I am grateful to our pastoral, worship and production teams that will enable us to stream our Sunday morning 9am and 10:30am services live from the sanctuary, beginning this Sunday, January 24. Career Consecration Sunday will be rescheduled for a later date. You can go online to www.missionchurch.com, our Facebook page, or YouTube (search for Mission Church Videos), to be part of our live Sunday services and also to view previous services.
As we continue our 21 Days of Hunger, (today is Day 12), let me encourage you to stay hungry and thirsty for our God, trusting Him to meet all of your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Our God is in control and the best is yet to come!
