Dear Vanir Family,
Greetings as we enter what some have referred to as “Hot August Nights” and the end of the summer vacation season. I hope each of you and your families were able to enjoy some of the summer months and create new celebrations. Vanir continues to encourage employees who are able to perform their work, to do so from home. Although this is a new working arrangement for many, I am so very proud that Vanir employees continue to be engaged and have worked hard to meet the needs of our clients.
I am so proud to announce that Vanir will host its 2020 PMCM Conference from October 1-3, 2020 via a virtual platform. Thank you to Rafael Martin and our Vanir team members for organizing this year's conference. We look forward to engaging with our members in this virtual platform to discuss industry standards and trends as we outline the company’s business plan. Each and every member of the Vanir team has a voice in shaping the future of this company. Please identify ways Vanir can be a solution to our clients’ new needs and challenges.
I’m also excited to report that in the coming weeks, Vanir will be introducing the results of its recent rebranding efforts to brand all of the Vanir companies as “Vanir." Thank you to Doug Marshall and team who conducted surveys, met with team members and helped develop new mission and vision statements for Vanir. Vanir is poised to partner with its clients to deliver innovative solutions to enrich the communities we serve!
Now that the school season is upon us once again, and you’re no doubt getting your children and grandchildren ready for school, I want to remind everyone that Vanir’s HR department is here and ready to assist with your remote working needs to ensure that you feel supported and engaged during this time period. If you have any questions, please reach out to Esmeralda Pena, Vanir’s HR Director. And best wishes to all of the Vanir children and grandchildren as they begin the start of the new school year!
As we continue our remote working schedule, we encourage you to communicate regularly with your supervisors and Vanir team members, prioritize your work so you remain organized, set reasonable expectations for yourself and your team members and enjoy a healthy work-life balance since you are working from home. Many enjoy the benefits of working from home, which tends to add flexibility to your schedules. With school, children and pets to tend to, the more organized you are, the more comfortable the work environment may be for all. Thank you for helping accommodate this temporary new “normal” during the COVID time period.
I encourage you to think about Vanir’s future. Develop your own business plan for your job, your department and/or area. Let’s promote a positive and successful business environment to continue meeting the needs of Vanir’s clients.
My best regards,
Dorene C. Dominguez
