May 25-27, 2020 at the Radisson Hotel Vancouver Airport!
The committees strive to develop a program that meets the learning needs of the variety of community health nurses from all sectors. Each year we are asked to ensure there is more content from home care perspective and frontline community health skills and issues.
The CHNC2020 conference theme reflects Nursing Now, an initiative of the International Council of Nurses and the World Health Organization to improve health by raising the profile of nursing, with the goal of tackling 21st century health challenges. Our theme also reflects our new and revised 2019 Canadian Community Health Nursing Standards of Practice which embody the vision for excellence in practice, education, administration, policy and research.
Are you involved in a great program or innovative service delivery that you want to share? Have you been part of a working group or committee that tackled a complex important issue your workplace? Please consider submitting an abstract and sharing your work with CHNC in Richmond this May. Abstract submissions are welcomed from those working in all disciplines related to community health.
Richmond is an excellent conference destination offering the winning combination of a modern, diverse city and a stunning natural setting. Attendees will love how easy it is to experience urban activities and explore mountaintops as well as pristine waterways in the same day. Nearby Vancouver enjoys a reputation of being Canada’s most walkable city, supported by a light rail transit system that will have attendees downtown in no time, trying local foods and tours across the city.
