We Are the World

A Global Voice of Peace invites you to a moment of peace

I belong to a weekly Intention Circle on zoom.
We’re forward thinkers to uplift ourselves and the planet.
However, this week, something was different.
The majority of us seemed to be weighed down by a cloud
of frustration, grief and sadness which is unusual for us.

Right now, all the uncertainties of life left us feeling isolated and shut out.
One by one we allowed ourselves to go to that place, be honest, real and voice it.
I felt a tender sweetness and gentleness in how we shared the universality and depths of where we are.
Even though we always share a beautiful bond of connection,
this night had a different tone, a deeper soul connection.

Below are some ways I and others deal with these times...
May you find your way.

Gylian's 3 AAA's:
Acknowledge Accept Allow
When I feel stuck, tied up in knots, obsessing about an issue or situation or something I can’t put my finger on, I turn to my AAA's:
ACKNOWLEDGE, ACCEPT, ALLOW
what is, whether I like it or not!

Expressing this to myself and others,
lifts the burden, the cloud of despair.
I also use the 3 AAA's when I am feeling great and want to anchor that in…..

A shared experience is
very soothing and healing.
Every Moment of LIFE is Precious

When I feel I need some
breathing space,
sanity, normalcy
I ask myself ...

What if this was my last moment? How would I like to feel?
What thoughts would I like to have?

I hold that in my heart and also share it with others.
Breathwork Circle
with Saci McDonald

After many years of Yoga, Breathing techniques, Meditation, etc, my dear friend Saci McDonald invited me to her Breathwork Circle on Zoom.

Now, every Wednesday, I attend her 1-hour session. It's amazing how 1-hour of this Breathwork style brings me to a deep dream state. When I awake, my perspective has shifted, allowing for new thoughts and possibilities to appear.

Share with us
how you are coping at this time.
It may be of comfort to yourself as well others ...
