An Invitation to Wellness

In my morning devotions, I often ask the Lord, “What is Your invitation to me today?” On Sunday, I sat and waited peacefully when the Holy Spirit replied, “I invite you into wellness.”

I felt elated as I looked up the word in the Strong’s Concordance. But it wasn’t there. The word well was in the concordance, and I thought of the Samaritan woman at the well. Jesus invited her to drink from His living water and assured her she would never thirst again. Her life changed in those moments at the well.

I believe God would have us drink from the deep well of His living water on a moment-by-moment basis.

In my search for more revelation, I felt a correlation with the word well-being. This can be found in the concordance as the word shalom. Shalom has many definitions: completeness, well-being, welfare, soundness, safety, happiness, peace, health, prosperity, favor, and rest—just to name a few!

Wellness may be the state of being in good health, but it is also an invitation to glorify God with your whole being. Are you ready to step into the Lord’s invitation to Shalom?

Moved with Compassion: A New Wineskin for Healing and Deliverance by Kay Tolman

The old wineskin for healing and deliverance can’t hold what God has for us today. In greater measure than ever before, God is releasing His anointing to accelerate the work of ministry. The bowls of heaven are tipping over with living water. What used to take years will be accomplished in hours. There is an acceleration from the throne room to redeem the time, heal the brokenhearted, and set the captives free. In the new wineskin, we host His presence, and miracles happen.

By a Spirit of Justice and a Spirit of Burning

In Isaiah 4:4, the Spirit of the Lord releases a Spirit of Justice and a Spirit of Burning to wash away the filth of the Church—even the bloodstains. As the Church grapples with the betrayal of yet another fallen leader, God reminds us of His purifying power.

“Though your sins stain you like scarlet, I will whiten them like bright new fallen snow.” — Isaiah 1:18

As I contemplated the meaning of the winter storm that blasted through several states and hit Texas particularly hard this weekend, I thought of God’s cleansing power through the ice and snow. He is releasing His justice over the land and igniting our spirits with a passionate fire for Jesus Christ.

The Hebrew word for Spirit can also be translated as breath or blast (as noted in The Passion Translation). This storm was certainly an arctic blast!

Chuck Pierce prophesied on Sunday:

“You are called to the next level of increase! Like a calf breaking out of the stall, I declare you will come through the gate and into your harvest field. Not even a deep winter freeze could keep us from gathering to press toward the 100-fold blessing!”

In closing, may you enter into wellness and the 100-fold blessing God has for you today!
