Dear Friends,

Through our journeys and giving RWF has come to learn that besides providing humanitarian aid it is equally important, if not more so, to foster a spirit of hope in people's lives. We have seen people with living in the most desperate circumstances with few resources making positive changes - with just a little support. The support provided by RWF gives hope by letting people know that someone cares. That alone is very powerful.
Fifteen years ago we recognized the need to inspire hope at home and worldwide and decided to do it through a global art project called the RWF World Tree of Hope. The Tree is RWF's gift to the world, and reflects our philosophy of building bridges and sharing the message that we are all ONE HUMAN FAMILY!
DO YOU HAVE A WISH FOR THE WORLD?
A Global Holiday Project Promoting Peace, Love, and Humanitarianism for All People on Earth

Give your wish wings and help decorate the RWF World Tree of Hope, our annual global holiday project to inspire hope, love and humanitarian action.
This December thousands of origami cranes inscribed with wishes for the future of the world - from people all over the world - will grace the 15th annual RWF World Tree of Hope at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco.

The RWF World Tree of Hope is a holiday tree decorated with thousands of origami cranes, each containing written notes of hope & peace from children and individuals from around the world. Created annually as a symbol of global unity and world peace, the tree is a gift from members of the San Francisco LGBTQ and Japanese American communities to the world - given to inspire hope, love, and humanitarian action.

Wishes from world leaders to school children, from San Francisco to Sir Lanka, make the RWF World Tree of Hope a powerful expression of people coming together to create a better world.

Be part of this unique symbol of global unitySend us your wish and it will be printed, folded into an origami crane and placed on the RWF World Tree of Hope with thousands of wishes from around the world.

Notable wishes on the tree include President Barack Obama, Dame Jane Goodall, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, Jane Elliot, Sharon Gless, Dame Edna, Courtney Cox, David Arquette, Kristi Yamiguchi, Frances Moore Lappe, Danielle Steel, and RuPaul

Read celebrity, children's & notable wishes here! and see our video invitation to the tree! Wishes will be added to the tree throughout December.
