Welcome to Holy Faith Highlights

IN THE NEWS

Thank you for bearing with us after the storm.

Please read the

"Important Message" below

about this weekend's Masses"

We plan to reschedule the canceled events as soon as possible. We pray all electricity has been restored and help is on the way for those who have suffered from damage and for the souls of those who have lost their lives and for their families.

Mark your calendars for the upcoming October events and let's pray together for protection and peace from future storms.

POWER RESTORATION, MASS SCHEDULE, COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT, TEMPORARY CANCELLATIONS

Dear Parishioners,

We hope this message finds you well. We want to inform you that, due to the recent storm, Holy Faith Catholic Church and the Rectory are currently without electricity. Fortunately, power has been restored to the front office and the FJMP Parish Life Center.

We are pleased to announce that all Masses will continue as scheduled, including the Vigil Mass tonight, September 27, at 5 PM, and all regularly scheduled Sunday Masses. The Masses will be held in the FJMP Parish Life Center.

We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time of temporary disruption. In our commitment to fostering community engagement, we regret to inform you that the Time and Talent Fair originally planned for this weekend has been canceled and will be rescheduled for a later date. Additionally, please note that coffee and donuts will not be served this weekend.

We are grateful for the resilience and collaborative spirit of our parish community as we navigate these challenges together. Your continued support is invaluable to us, and we look forward to gathering with you in worship and fellowship.

Fr. Jose

Attention: Parents of children and youth,

We care about our parents with children and we ask for your help. We are participating in a Diocesan Catholic Family Survey to help our parish better understand your family and your life as a parent. The survey results are very important. They will be used to create a parish plan for supporting parents of children and young people, and for engaging the whole family in our Catholic faith.

We appreciate your time and contribution!

UPCOMING OCTOBER EVENTS

October is Respect Life Month, as well as the Month of the ROSARY

and we have a series of meaningful events lined up for you!

Come and pray to Jesus on First Friday, October 4th, for all the world to recognize the beauty of life at all stages, no matter the color of their skin, their race, their status or their religious beliefs, with love and respect, as Jesus taught us.

On Saturday, October 5th, we bless our beloved pets in honor of St. Francis of Assisi.

October 5th-6th: Fr. Chepe from our Sister Parish of Guatemala will be visiting and preaching next weekend. Our second collection will benefit the Sister Parish. If interested in sponsoring a child or a teacher, please contact the office. Thank you for your support.

On Sunday, October 6, join us for Respect Life Sunday, where we’ll kick off a baby bottle drive to support A Woman's Answer Medical Center, helping women in need. At 1:00pm, stand united with us for a peaceful Life Chain event, advocating for the sanctity of all human life, especially the most vulnerable in the womb, and for an end to abortion.

Then, on Monday, October 7, don’t miss our Living Rosary Prayer Service, where we come together as a diverse community to pray for the needs of the world and our personal intentions, meditate on the mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary, and sing in honor of Our Lady of the Rosary. We begin with song at 6:15pm. Come pray with us

Also scroll further down for more news of celebrations, works of mercy events, and special presentations coming soon.

Every event is a chance to deepen our faith and a commitment to the Catholic christian way of life—let’s stand together in love and respect!

Blessing of the Pets (Saturday October 5th)

Join us on October 5 at 10:30am for this heartwarming tradition at Holy Faith Catholic Church as we gather for the Blessing of the Pets! In honor of St. Francis of Assisi, this special event invites you and your beloved furry friends to receive blessings on our patio. It's a joyful occasion to celebrate the bond between humans and their pets, while reminding us of our shared responsibility to care for all of God's creations. Bring your pets, your family, and your love for life as we come together in this delightful celebration! Fr. Jose begins with a brief scripture service followed by blessing with Holy Water of all of your pets. You can provide a photo of your pet if you cannot bring them.
