STCC has always held a special place in my heart. I remember being on campus as a child with my aunt, who is a proud STCC alum. Growing up in the Upper Hill/Mason Square neighborhood, I loved coming to STCC for various community events, and it’s always felt like home. I know that's true for so many others, including Gail Carberry '77, last month's powerful commencement speaker (read more below).
Now I walk these halls as a proud employee. Because of alumni like you, I know I can make a difference in the lives of STCC students. You are the donors whose support helps remove some of the barriers students may face as they work toward graduation. You are the mentors our students need to take the next step in new careers. And you inspire today’s students to imagine where they’ll be tomorrow. I love making those connections.
Are you an alumnus who wants to re-engage with STCC? I can help. We’d love to find ways to connect with you—whether you’re interested in mentoring, joining us at events, or making a gift to help support our students.
I look forward to seeing you at alumni and college events, and if you find yourself on campus, please be in touch. I would love to meet you and hear your STCC story!
Warm Regards,
Eunice Guidry
