An Important Announcement Regarding COVID-19
Dear business partners,
The global outbreak of the novel coronavirus – COVID-19 – continues to dominate the headlines. Just yesterday, the State of California issued a statewide shelter in place order, affecting over 40 million people and countless businesses—Trimark included. Because of this, most of Trimark’s California personnel are now working remotely.
An important exception to this is the Trimark Operations Center (TOC), which has been designated as an essential resource. With the support of our Norfolk, Virginia team, the TOC will be there to support your continued operations.
As we had already encouraged employees to work from home if needed prior to the County of Sacramento's and State of California’s respective shelter orders, I am confident that this unprecedented statewide lockdown and social distancing will not in any way harm Trimark’s ongoing services. Nevertheless, I would like to make you aware of the significant measures we are enacting to preserve the health, safety, well-being, and peace of mind of our staff, clients, partners, and community, as there is no greater priority to us right now. These measures include the following:
  • Commitment to community. The vast majority of Trimark's California-based staff are now working from home until further notice in an effort to "flatten the curve," thereby slowing the spread of the COVID-19 virus. (As previously mentioned, the TOC will continue normal operations, and our Norfolk location is not affected.) We continue to track announcements and recommendations from leading institutions, such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), and state officials.

  • Fully equipped for remote operation. Though this crisis has left the world in shock, Trimark continues to be here for our business partners. All Trimark employees can still be reached via email, while our recently overhauled phone system is configured to automatically route incoming office calls to our cell phones. Moreover, all of our staff were already equipped with laptops, remote VPN access, and virtual conferencing/conference call capabilities prior to this pandemic, providing them with incredible communications flexibility no matter their location. To promote social distancing measures and reduce person-to-person contact, we will utilize these features extensively. Please discuss these options with your relevant Trimark contacts to best meet your needs.

  • Travel restrictions. Trimark has instructed all non-essential employees to cease all business travel during this crisis. Field techs will continue to travel to sites for installations and maintenance efforts. When travel is absolutely necessary, all personnel will drive rather than fly, in an attempt to limit their chances of exposure and preserve the collective health of all those they may need to directly interact with—including you.
