Dear Community Leaders and Members of Anne Arundel County,

Last week, the Board of Elections shared that nearly 100,000 early voters came out county-wide to cast their ballots. Early voting sites are still open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. until tomorrow, October 31st. Visit aacounty.org/elections for locations and to check the wait times, which are updated hourly for each site. You can also visit aacpl.net/voter-information for the Anne Arundel County Voter Essentials provided by the Anne Arundel County Public Library, which was created to help you prepare to vote.

Exciting developments are underway at Crownsville Hospital Memorial Park! Hopefully, you took some time to review the Draft Master Plan, which is available at aacounty.org/CrownsvillePark. Please join us tonight from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Baldwin Hall for a Town Hall meeting with County Executive Pittman if you can. This will be an opportunity to share your thoughts and help shape the future of this vital community space. If you can't make it, feel free to email feedback to crownsville-park-comments@aacounty.org.

As winter approaches, it’s time to think about safety. Join CECS for our next EngageArundel webinar with the Office of Emergency Management for an informative discussion on winter preparedness. Topics will include winter weather hazards, health and fire safety, and county snow plowing procedures. Scroll below to learn how to protect yourself and your family before the first storm arrives!

Lastly, I'd like to highlight an empowering Fair Housing Webinar Series brought to you by our Office of Equity and Human Rights, Arundel Community Development Services, and the Equal Rights Center. Whether you’re a tenant, landlord, or housing professional, you’ll walk away with practical tips and expert guidance to navigate fair housing laws. See details in the upcoming events sections.
