Re:       Happy New Year

We hope that the holidays find everyone happy and healthy. As we approach the New Year, I wanted to reach out with a quick update on happenings here at the KCC, as well as to say “Thank you” for your patience, flexibility, and support as we have navigated 2020 together.

Given the current COVID-19 climate, we will continue to have reduced hours. Beginning on January 4th, we will be open from 6:00am-4:00pm Monday through Friday, 8:00am-2:00pm Saturday, and 8AM to 12PM Sunday. We will continue to evaluate our programs and hours and inform you of any changes as they occur.

In addition to the updated operating hours, we have made the decision to hold off the Basketball Season until later in the winter/early spring.   We feel this is the safest option as the state and our region struggle with a surge in positive COVID cases.

A friendly reminder that current Fitness Suite memberships have been extended FOR FREE through March 31, 2021. If you are not a member, you have until January 4th, 2021 to register now for a three-month membership January 1, 2021 through March 31, 2021 for a reduced  price!  Residents – Youth, Adult or Senior - $20 / Non-residents – Youth, Adult or Senior - $25.

You can register for a membership or reserve your workout timeslot at our website:, or by calling 207-439-3800.  When you arrive, you will be required to complete a quick screening process prior to entering the fitness area.  We will help you start the New Year off safely and in shape here at the KCC!

Please remember that, in accordance with the Governor’s most recent Executive Order,  all KCC visitors are required to wear face coverings, regardless of the ability to maintain physical distance. Face masks are required at the KCC at all times, and applies to all activities and programs within the building: fitness classes, fitness room use, meetings, etc.

Please stay tuned for further announcements. Follow us on social media and sign up for our email list to stay in the loop on registration information

Stay safe and we hope that 2021 brings us back together soon.
