Thank you for your support of My Blue Dots. Our work supports both the cancer patients with our compassionate pin program as well as cancer research. This Newsletter is to give you an update on both of these projects so you will know where your donations have been going.

In cancer research,   My Blue Dots has been supporting Erinn Rankin,  Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at the Stanford University School of Medicine for several years.   She is highly respected in her field and we are honored to be able to help her in this work.

Than ks to you, our friends and donors, we have also been able to give over 3,000 pins to the Radiation/Oncology Dept. at Stanford University Medical School to those going through their cancer challenge as well as to their caregiver. We are honored to be able to support the work of the professional and compassionate team at Stanford.

Cancer will be cured someday....and that day is coming soon.

 Until Next Time...
                                                    Sue

Dr. Erinn Rankin BS, PhD
Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology
Stanford University Medical Center

Erinn Rankin's research project was recently profiled in an article that highlighted her ability to work with cross-functional departments to address the complexity of cancer and how her team is working on developing innovative treatments that will improve patient responses to cancer treatments.

Her team is focused on questions like, what causes cancers to be resistant to treatment? What allows cancer to thrive and spread? Why can certain cancer tumors can hide and be undetected? These are the some of the important questions she and her team are grappling with everyday.

For more information about her work please visit the link below

My Blue Dots is proud to support Erinn Rankin and her research lab.
