An easter (RESURRECTION DAY) Miracle!!!!!! 4/5/26
1 Peter 1:3 (KJV 1900)
3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
“A LIVELY HOPE BY THE RESUURECTION OF JESUS CHRIST FROM THE DEAD!”
PRAISE THE LORD-HE/JESUS IS RISEN FROM THE DEAD!!!!
WOW!! What an easter, (no capitol intentional-Easter is ONLY written once in the KJV).
I AWOKE, (PRAISE THE LORD FOR AWAKENING AGAIN) ….....AGAIN!!!
By by ALIVE daughter Amanda at 1:45 AM and fell back asleep until the lovely hour of 1:53 AM.
THEN my RESURRECTION DAY celebration UNEXPECTANTLY began to unfold!!!
I will AGAIN state this fact-Holidays are hard for me I apologize to reiterate.
I and my family are physically unable to celebrate any holidays now.
None of us-Wanda, Amanda and myself are able to eat anymore-especially holiday meals.
Wanda has a complete different diet than me, ( I am a Mounjaro patient) and Amanda is now gastric tube fed.
We are unable to travel to any family feasts or gatherings and it is too difficult to host any parties at my home, (Amanda does not tolerate ANY disruptions in her daily life!!(@#$!!!)
I sincerely MISS be able to partake in the planning and/or participate in the MUCH BELOVED RESURRECTION SERVICES that my fellow Pastors are doing today-did I mention how much I WISH I could!!?? How well do I remember how glorious they were for me personally......
BUT..............................................................God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At 2:48 AM this morning I received a text from our Church in Zambia, Africa-Pastor Patrick Chapotamo and his wonderful Wife, Naomi, PRAYING the above Scripture:

What ensued from that text became my easter/RESURRECTION SERVICE-PRAISE THE LORD!!!
At 5:03 AM our time, I received a FB Video chat from their Church-A HOME CHURCH-and was able to visually view, GREET, and interact with the several congregants/members-
INCLUDING many SMILING CHILDREN.
I then took my small screen cell phone to little Amanda's bed and she was able to SMILE and interact with Pastor Chapotomo as THEY.THE CHURCH, PRAYED for Amanda and then I was able to PRAY for their BLESSING....
as Alan Jackson sang in the background from Amanda's CD player the wonderful songs Of God and His Grace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I could go on and on from here but I must stop. I spoke with several Pastors in the ensuing wee hours of darkness as they prepared, (one CONFESSED to me that he was STILL nervous, “after ALL his years of preaching and Pastoring!!) on this BLESSED occasion.
I go in a few hours to deliver a walker and a steak dinner to a loved one in a rehab clinic and then, hopefully, perhaps sleep??????????????????????????
MY easter/Resurrection miracle for ME, personally, is that Amanda is STILL alive and my beloved wife awoke and my beautiful granddaughter arrived ON TIME to work with Amanda today.
Amanda has now been pronounced and diagnosed as being D-E-A-D three times!!!!
Besides all that, I, too, LIVE!!! TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY!!!!!
Did I mention the easter/RESURRECTION MIRACLE we, in the FREE world, also awoke to?
The AMAZING retrieval of our BRAVE, BRAVE, BRAVE serviceman stricken in enemy territory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PRAISE THE LORD-WHAT A JOY AND RELIEF!!!
TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY-AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And finally, after watching a popular news reporter, I discovered an INCREDIBLE idea that I believe will RESURRECT and IMPROVE on the old/OLD easterbunny FARCE!!!!!!!
SHE described her and her family's easter tradition!
Instead of an easter basket, she takes a small box-like a shoe box-and on GOOD FRIDAY she has the small children draw a picture of Jesus and/or the Cross.
Then they take the picture and wrap it in a napkin-perhaps linen cloth and BURY the picture wrapped in a napkin in the tomb/box and then place a large STONE on top of it!!!
THEN on easter/RESURRECTION DAY the tomb/box is opened and MIRACULOUSLY candy now fills the box/tomb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FINALLY and TRULY finally!!! THE BEST NEWS OF ALL!!!!!
