The coronavirus outbreak may require us to close some or all of our branch operations. We are currently working diligently to equip our staff with the ability to access our systems remotely. This will enable us to provide limited service to our Membership in the event of branch closures.

We understand the concern and uncertainty you may be experiencing surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19), and the Credit Union is committed to being responsive to your needs as the environment changes and progresses. We will continue to closely monitor and implement the current safety protocols from the CDC and our local government.

We are very fortunate to be able to provide, and strongly encourage you to use, our electronic services as well as our resources for self-service banking and 24/7 account access. You may access your accounts online, or by using our website www.nyteamfcu.org . Through these services you may transfer funds, view transactions, check balances, locate ATM’s in your area and more!

It’s easier and faster to manage your account digitally, especially since businesses, including financial institutions, may be operating short of staff and may change to remote operation at any time. This could lead to delays in our responses to you and some Credit Union services. If you haven’t enrolled in home banking, it only takes a few minutes.  Enroll now .

Below are a few things you can do to ensure you have access to your accounts prior to a possible disruption in normal credit union services.

·        Confirm your Home/STAR Banking Usernames and Passwords, ensuring you have access to your accounts via your phone and home computer. If you haven’t set up Home/STAR Banking yet, now is a great time!

·        Confirm ATM/Debit Cards many of us use our cards regularly, but some might not. If you haven’t used your cards in a while, it might be well worth it to confirm it is in good working order.

As this virus continues in its present direction, and, as it applies to the safety of our Members and Staff, you will be notified immediately of any Credit Union Branch closures.
We also understand that there may be instances where members find themselves facing financial difficulties. NY TEAM FCU is here to help! We encourage any members who may be impacted to reach out to discuss how we might be able to assist.

*Also, please remember that unfortunately criminals look for any opportunity they can find to take advantage of people. Criminals could use the coronavirus as pretext to call or email you with some “emergency” that requires your personal and/or card information right away. Financial institutions and government agencies will never call you asking for this information. DO NOT give your card numbers or personal information to someone reaching out via phone!
