At YWCA Evanston/North Shore, we feel strongly that to be a responsible employer, neighbor, community member, and service provider, we must do our part to minimize the spread of COVID-19.

Therefore, the YWCA will suspend or postpone all programs and events and close our building until April 13, 2020 . This includes all of our aquatics programs and will affect families who are part of the swim school and swim team.

Our regular schedule for both the swim school and swim team will remain in place through Saturday, March 14. However, beginning on Sunday, March 15, all aquatics programming will go on hiatus until April 13.

Please note that aquatics staff members will still be available to respond to voicemail and email during this time.

For swim team members: Look for more detailed information in the upcoming issue of the Flying Fish News and note that we are postponing marathon prize distribution until the building re-opens in mid-April. Contact Pete Caragher for more information.

For swim school participants: We will not hold the remainder of our Spring I session, but we will be back in the water for our Spring II session, which begins April 25. Contact Peter Raffel for more information.

We will continue to keep you updated in the weeks ahead. Thank you for your patience during this challenging time.
