June Update on COVID-19
Family Health Center patients and friends,

We are committed to helping you stay healthy and we are here for you. We felt it
was important to give you a late June update since so much continues to change
each week. The good news is that there has not been known widespread
community transmission of the COVID-19 virus in our area although there has been a spike in cases where people were infected elsewhere . Bonner General Hospital has done 1210 nasal swab tests to date with a total of 24 confirmed cases of which 17 are still active and being monitored.

First, rest assured that our clinic continues to be open Monday – Friday 8-5. We
are always available for normal office visits in person or by video from the
convenience of your home or office. Most visit types can be scheduled either way. We provide personalized, comprehensive health care when and where it is convenient for you. We offer same day appointments and “quick sick” walk in and video visits every day. However, if you are running both a fever AND you have cough or respiratory symptoms, we ask that you schedule a video visit to reduce possible exposure to the new virus.

At this time, in accordance with CDC guidelines, we now require that all patients
wear a face mask in our office. If you are unable to wear a mask for any reason,
please inform our receptionists at the time of your appointment. Understand that
we are sanitizing common touch surfaces like door handles, countertops, and
pens several times a day. Even so, practice good personal hygiene habits including
hand washing and avoid touching your face when in public.

Bonner General Hospital has resumed all imaging services, therapy services, and
elective surgeries. However, they also have eliminated cardiac rehab, diabetes
education, home health, and wound care services. If you are affected by the
closure of these services please let us know so we can help.

Our philosophy is simple: we want to be your medical home – a place where you
can contact us anytime about anything concerning your health. We are always
here, no matter what. We can be reached for emergency concerns 24 hours a day
at our office phone number. We look forward to taking care of you and your
family! Welcome home.

Sincerely,
Family Health Center

Dr. Scott Dunn; Dr. Zach Halversen, Dr. Dan Meulenberg, Dr. Hannah Raynor, Dr. Jeremy Waters, Dr. Kara Waters and staff.
