Have you been away from
for awhile, but yearn to come back? Holy Week is a good time to begin again. Come reacquaint yourself with the story of Jesus’ steadfast love for all. Live into the narrative of his last week and the surprise of Resurrection. Let yourself be drawn into the world of God’s faithfulness to each and all.
Or maybe you are curious about the Christian faith? Have you thought about going to a church, but felt wary, or worried about acceptance? At Trinity Church, you will be welcomed, accepted, and embraced into the mystery of God’s love in the drama of Holy Week. Come, sit, pray, or just
during the most important week of the church year.
Do you have children? Bring them to Holy Week at Trinity. Children are always welcome here, but especially so during Holy Week. The narrative drama of this week, especially the movement from light to dark, in our Maundy Thursday service, can be especially appealing to young ones. Easter Vigil is particularly appropriate for children, because it engages all the senses, and allows for fun and frivolity, as well as tenderness and quiet joy.
At Easter Vigil, many churches will use balloons, streamers, clanging bells, to mark the transition from death to Resurrection. It is a great way to help our children make memories that will inscribe the Christian faith into their hearts and souls indelibly. Children are welcome at any service, and we hope you will choose to let them experience the full range of worship during Holy Week.
Come, whoever you are.
You are welcome at Trinity Episcopal Church.
us as we mark Jesus’ journey to the cross and ultimately to a joyous Resurrection.
