An update - and things to see

Where we are now....

... and what's coming up!!

It took us quite a while to fulfill all the orders we had after the last email and consequently there's now there is very little left - thank you!!! Products were sold out and taken off the website, others have come off the website as we've found 'homes' for them.

As we've been doing this we've also been rearranging the website - condensing the categories etc making it much easier to see what's still there (and what's not!). Eventually there will be just a handful of 'core' products on there as we move to the new phase of Art Van Go

But more of that in a later email .... this one is to let you know about some of the things we're now involved with - or are looking forward to, and hope you are too!

Brockenhurst Needlework Fiesta
Sat 25th & Sun 26th April

A brilliant event in the New Forest that we've attended (as Art Van Go) almost every year since it started.

You'll find a great array of textile-based traders as well as lots of demonstrations from artists who'll be chatting about what they do.

It's always been a great show to be involved with and this will be Viv's third year taking part as Viv Arthur 'artist'!!?? It would be great to see you!

Herts Art Society Open Exhibition poster

Hertford Art Society
Open Art Exhibition
Sat 2nd to Sat 9th May

One of the most prestigious Open Exhibitions in the South East, the Exhibition will feature work by amateurs and professionals and will include paintings, drawings, prints, collages and sculpture chosen for inclusion by a panel of judges.

This annual event is always a must-see - the range and standard of work is always so good. We'll definitely be paying a visit - maybe we'll see you there!

Kimpton Art Show
Sat 2nd to Mon 4th May

Opening Night Friday 6-9pm

Kimpton Art Show, an exhibition and sale of artwork, forms a major feature of the Hertfordshire village of Kimpton's May Festival weekend.

The venue is St Peter & St Paul's Church, a beautiful setting. It will be packed with art of all kinds and to add to it there will be live music from local musicians throughout.

For the first time Viv will have three small pieces of work included - see if you can spot them!

A group with a membership of one hundred and twenty three - including the like of Polly Woolstone, Merete Hawkins as well as our good friend Amanda Hislop - it is sure to be one to see!
