NJFO brings SWING TIME to Westfield!
On a sunny Westfield afternoon, under social distancing conditions, NJFO's blistering big band hits brought us all together. Thank you to our superb musicians led by Maestro David Wroe and our sell out audience who were all in the mood!
The show drew a sell out crowd that set up on lawn chairs and blankets in the gardens of NJFO Board President Keith S. Hertell, where audience members could be seen swing dancing to the tunes.
With Broadway performer Rosena Hill Jackson belting out solos, the orchestra delighted the audience with music by Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Benny Goodman and others of the Big Band era.

"This was our musical ‘coming out’ party," said Maestro Wroe. "An upbeat event designed to lift people’s spirits and nothing fits the bill better than the unique, yet classy, jazzy dance rhythms and melodies of the Big Band era."
