Dear Friends of Senior Symposia,

We hope this note finds you and your loved ones well in body and spirit during this difficult time for our nation.

Concerns for the health and safety of students and staff at GCC have led to the decision that the GCC campus will remain closed to the public in the fall; all classes and administrative functions will be conducted remotely. Consequently, we must cancel the outstanding fall 2020 series of Senior Symposia that we had planned for you. This is a disappointment, but certainly the right thing to do.

Our hope is that COVID-19 conditions will improve greatly by Spring 2021. If that is the case, our speakers scheduled for fall 2020 are willing to present their postponed talks at the downtown campus between late January and April 2021. We will follow the lead of the GCC administration: if the campus re-opens to the public, we open.

Thank you for your past support of Senior Symposia. We look forward to seeing you next spring to share stimulating ideas, friendship, and cider!

Warm regards,
