Greetings!

Earlier this month, as part of the College's new structure that separates certification functions and membership activities, ACVS announced it will separate the current single annual dues amount for Diplomates into two clearly defined components: an annual certification fee and annual membership dues.

Emeritus Diplomates will not be required to pay the annual certification fee to maintain Emeritus Diplomate status.

To maintain Emeritus Diplomate member status, Emeritus Diplomates will pay annual membership dues of $75. Membership dues provide access to enhanced opportunities to connect with fellow Diplomates and other member benefits and services.

If you choose not to renew your membership, you will continue to hold your Emeritus Diplomate status; however, you may not refer to yourself as an ACVS member and will not have access to member benefits and services.

Renewal notices for 2027 will be sent in early October, with payment due by December 31, 2026. ACVS Emeritus Diplomates exemplify the highest standards of leadership and excellence in veterinary surgery. I look forward to you continuing your dedication to the College and ACVS membership.

Sincerely,
