Dearest Joel,
I am writing to you today with an urgent appeal for assistance.
Since Sunday morning, Metro Manila and several adjacent provinces has been devastated by continuous superfloods and heavy rains brought by Typhoon Crising. The situation is increasingly worse because the heavy rains never stop pouring until today, and several families are immensely affected adversely.
Numerous homes, including our Children's center in Baseco, Port Area, Manila, have been completely submerged. Since Sunday, many residents have been unable to leave their homes to work, disrupting their livelihoods and leaving families without the means to provide for their basic needs. The situation is particularly heartbreaking as even our office in Manila has been affected by the flooding.
The impact on these families is devastating. They have lost their homes, their belongings, and their ability to earn a living. They urgently need our help.
Therefore, I humbly appeal to your generous heart to extend support in any way you can. Whether it's financial assistance, donations of goods, every contribution here will surely make a significant difference.
Your kindness and compassion can bring hope and relief to those in desperate need.
