This is an urgent message concerning the cancellation of our upcoming SHINE! event scheduled for May 7, 2020.
This is a very difficult time for our community. I know many of us are faced with decisions we have never had to make before that are impacting our families, businesses, and those whom we lead and serve.
To follow the “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” statewide guidelines that have been issued, we have made the decision to cancel our SHINE! event to be in compliance with State, City, County, and Federal governments.
We are confident this is the responsible action to take in order to best care for the safety and health of all involved, especially as it concerns you.
We are working on an important digital telethon event experience which will be presented in segments on KATU Channel 2 this Wednesday. This campaign highlights how
we are rising to the occasion to help those in need
in the midst of this crisis, and how you can get involved to help offer this same hope.
You will be hearing from us in the coming days as we continue to adapt and expand Sunshine Division's response to meet this crisis head on and serve our community during these unprecedented times.
