Talking Heads LIVE
Meet-up with fellow communicators at our Talking Heads LIVE webinars! Every month, we’ll discuss topics that impact your work as we hear from AC members and friends.
These gatherings are scheduled for the fourth Friday of the month at 12:00 p.m. EST and are open to anyone, not just AC members. However, due to Zoom capacity, these events are limited to the first 100 people who register.

Join us for our first Talking Heads LIVE for 2021 on Friday, February 26, from 12:00-1:00 p.m. EST!
As the gig economy grows in the U.S. and Canada, freelance communicators and creatives are looking for ways to earn a sustainable income. In this interactive Zoom session, explore how collaborating benefits freelancers at all stages of their careers. Discover how joining forces enables freelancers to concentrate on their specialties, subcontract to professionals with complementary skills, and secure higher-value projects that provide complete solutions for clients. Also find out how in-house communication teams can partner with freelancers to amplify their results.
Presenter Sandra Reimer has collaborated with other independent professionals and in-house communication teams throughout her 16-year career as a freelance communication strategist. In August 2020, she launched CoLaborNation—an online community that gathers Canadian freelance communicators and creatives to focus, grow and collaborate so they can increase their income and impact.

Highlight your work on our AC blog
Members, we would love to highlight your writing, photography, artwork, etc. on our AC blog! Many of you noted when you signed up for membership that you have a blog or you regularly write for your organization's website. And from what we see on Facebook, we know that several of you are skilled in the arts!
We would include your byline and bio on anything we share and post a link to it on our social media pages. Potential blogs will be vetted by the AC board to make sure they comply with our mission and values.
To submit a blog for consideration, email us!
A few prompts to consider ...
- What do you wish you would have known when you started working in Anabaptist communications?
- Share about an experience that has formed you as an Anabaptist communicator.
- What's a topic you wish you would hear more about in Anabaptist communications channels, and why is it important to you?

Catch up with all things AC on our Membership Portal
AC members can access recordings of Talking Heads LIVE events and presentations from past conferences through the Membership Portal on the AC website. If you haven't yet set up your password to access the portal, this would be a great time to do it!
New AC members received emails with a personalized link; the emails came from no-reply@editmysite.com and were titled "Welcome to www.anabaptistcomm.org!" — just in case yours ended up in your spam folder. Members who renewed should still be able to access your account from last year.
If you have any questions or need assistance, reach out!

You are receiving this email because you have connected with Anabaptist Communicators through membership and/or participation in one or more of our events. We don't send a lot of emails and would be glad to stay in touch with you! You can manage your subscription preferences below if needed.
