2021 was a challenging year for many. For Anawim Housing it was a year to double down on our mission of developing stable homes and strengthening communities.
Strong communities and stable homes begin with safe and affordable housing for all. Especially for those individuals or families who do not have a home. Anawim Housing believes that Housing is a Human Right and we focus our resources to ensure we are leading our community towards ending homelessness.
Anawim staff know that when people have their own homes and flexible supportive services to promote housing stability, they are overwhelmingly successful. In fact, 95% of people who enter into Anawim Housing’s permanent supportive housing programs stay in their homes.
Ending homelessness is an ambitious goal, but Anawim Housing is prepared to take bold steps in leading our community towards that goal. Ending homelessness will take creativity, commitment to best practices and committed partners and funding sources. At Anawim Housing we believe Home is Everything and we will work tirelessly so that everyone will have their own place to call home.
