Home Visits
Be on the lookout in the next week for a sign up for home visits, scheduled for August 2nd - August 6th. This year we will be doing a hybrid model for home visits. Since we don't know how comfortable everyone is with home visits during COVID, at least 2 days will be available for home visits and at least 2 days will be available for visits at school. While we would prefer to visit your home, we realize that not everyone is quite ready for visitors yet.

We would like to remind everyone that this visit is mandatory for all K-8 families, whether your child is in the same classroom or a different classroom this year. Important information is shared about your child's classroom and the whole school. Please make sure to sign up for an available time slot!

Enrollment Reminder
As the school year has come to a close, we'd like to kindly ask that you make every effort to submit required information for the 21-22 school year before the end of July. This information has been communicated to you via the enrollment confirmation packets you received in the mail. This is true for both re-enrollments AND new enrollments. Examples of this needed paperwork may include eye exams, dental forms, immunizations, or health examinations (among others). Many of these forms are available via our online registration checklist (see link below).

We want the rest of your summer to be a relaxing time with your children, so it makes things much easier, for both you and the office staff, if you can take care of needed paperwork now. We thank you for your partnership!

We are looking forward to serving you next year. May the Lord bless you and we hope you all enjoy the rest of your summer!

Policy Change
Our school's dress code has been reviewed for revisions. The review was conducted by teaching staff, the Early Childhood and Elementary Boards which include school parents, and approved by the School Board. The dress code for the 2021-2022 school year has been greatly revised. This revised dress code will go into effect for the 2021-2022 school year. Please review the dress code before you make clothing purchases for the next school year. You can view the dress code by clicking on the link above. If you have any questions or concerns, please direct them to our Deacon of School Ministries, Jim Duff, or myself. Thank you for reviewing the new Faith Lutheran School Dress Code.

Sports News
We anticipate the full roster of athletic competition for the 2021-2022 school year.

This summer, have fun working on all the skills you will need for sports.  Run. Jump. Shoot baskets from differing lengths. Dribble a soccer ball. Serve a volleyball across your backyard. Eat the healthy meals that training athletes need. Follow regular sleep times.

Truly, even if you are unsure about sports, that training will keep you healthy and able to concentrate on everything in your life.

See you next autumn,
Mr. Keith Kopczynski
