We are very pleased to announce our sales for July, which were doubled over the Independence Day week alone, comparing to last year's records. I am grateful for having a great team working for me and very proud of my staff for stepping up in the times the Club needed it. Hoping for a fun and eventful month of August to finish our season strong. Couple things I would like to remind everyone of:
Please sign your checks before leaving
Sign your guests in at the Pool (grandparents - make a note on a sign-in sheet if you already paid for the season, lifeguards will check if you are on the list, otherwise you will be charged a guest fee)
Sign our guest book in the dining room (we will be more strict on "6 times a year" rule listed in the by-laws in the upcoming season; the idea is to eventually convert guests into members and not abuse visiting privileges)
All people using the pool must wear approved swimming attire only. Street clothes are NOT approved swimming attire.
When filling out the sign in sheet at the Pool, don't forget to write legibly and state your member number.
We suggest that if you are thinking to have a special event at the Club this year (Birthday or Holiday Party, Wedding Reception, Graduation Party, etc.), please refer to me or Laurie to reserve your date as soon as you can. The calendar is filling up quickly and we would like to give our members first choice before planning "in house" events.

Join us Tuesday August 14th at 7 pm for a very special Wine Tasting featuring a special guest from Aratas Winery, California. We will taste 5 Aratas Winery selections, which will be thoughtfully paired with a dish prepared by Chef Chun. It will include a sparkling wine during cocktail hour.
Our special guest, founder and Brand Director, Stephanie Douglas, is the creative partner and passionate force behind Aratas Wine. From a bay area family with early ties to California’s wine export and distribution business, her roots are firmly planted in the Napa Valley. Married to co-founder and east coast restaurateur John Chohany, she spreads her time between the coasts of California and Virginia where she serves on the board of the Chesapeake Bay Wine Classic Foundation. Today she is also a renaissance leader in California as Napa Valley’s only producer solely dedicated to the American Heritage Varietal, Petite Sirah.
