First of all, I wanted to thank everyone for coming out to Spring Clean Up. It was one wet event, but everyone pulled through and got a lot accomplished. It's very much appreciated to see members chipping in to beautify our Club for all to enjoy.
We have a lot of events planned for all members to attend in May. And I really hope everyone enjoys that! Keep an eye out for my reminders and announcements.
Summer is right around the corner, and I will resume the hiring process for food runners and servers for the Pub. The positions are very limited for people under 21 years old. If your children have applied, please note, I will do my best on getting everyone on my team, but I can not make any promises. Interviews will be conducted by me and Tyler within the next few days.
Our reports show an increase in sales for each month this year for Topside events comparing to last year, which is a great accomplishment for our Club, and I'm very grateful to my team for helping me to achieve this goal.
Under unfortunate circumstances we sustained some property damages to the North shed roof after the storm a couple weeks ago (the Board is currently reviewing repair options) and unforeseen maintenance issues with the Pool pump (awaiting the replacement this week for the pool inspection).
The plans are up for introducing WYCC to the Club Management System, which will increase productivity, effectiveness and speed of service for the food and beverage service, banquet and special event planning, marina management, website and social media integration, back of the office and bookkeeping. It is very much needed for this Club to be successful for years to come, and I'm very excited and proud to be a part of this project.
