NEWS & UPCOMING EVENTS

December 5 - Supper Club Christmas Party at the Fairhope Yacht Club, 6:00-9:00 PM. If you are attending the supper club group party on December 5, please make every effort to carpool, as parking is limited at the Yacht Club.


December 7 - Advent Lessons & Carols at the 8:30 and 10:30 services. (7:30 service will remain Holy Eucharist, Rite II)


December 7 - St. Nicholas Visit in Green Hall! Starts at 9:45 AM.


December 10 - Young Men of St. James Dinner. 6:00 PM in Green Hall. Bring a friend!


December 14 - Christmas Open House at 4:30 in Green Hall. Save the date and be sure to join us for some festive fellowship as we celebrate the season! Wine and light hors d’oeuvres will be served. Please RSVP to info@stjamesfairhope.org or 251-928-2912.


December 23 - Cookie decorating for Santa! 1:00 PM in Green Hall. All ages welcome.


January 14 - SAVE THE DATE for a special St. James screening of “Sallie’s Ashes”, a documentary film about the Coal Ash Action Group, featuring parishioners Savan Wilson and the late Sallie Smith. More information coming soon.

“Pave the Way” Engraved Bricks - Order your commemorative engraved bricks! These personalized bricks will be located in the sidewalks around our new buildings and covered drop-off areas. Ordering is open until December 19—only a few weeks left! Bricks will be installed in the spring of 2026. A commemorative brick would make a wonderful Christmas gift! Shuttle Updates:

The St. James van is providing shuttle service from Fairhope West Elementary each Sunday beginning at 10:10am for the 10:30 services. (No shuttle for the 8:30 AM service) The last return route following the 10:30 service will leave the church by 12:05.


Christmas Eve Shuttle Services:

The shuttle will be available on December 24 beginning at:

2:00 PM for the 3:00 PM service*

5:00 PM for the 6:00 PM service.*  

9:30 PM for the 10:00 PM service

*Both of these services had over 500 people in attendance last year. Taking the shuttle is easy, convenient, and comfortable! Please consider taking advantage of this service. There will be a church sign at the entrance to the Fairhope West parking lot on Section St.

Handicapped Parking Spaces added for Sunday Mornings

We have added 4 handicapped parking spaces for Sunday mornings.

(These additional spaces will not be designated as handicapped on days other than Sundays, and will be available to all visitors.)
