And The Winners Are...
,

Horses gallop on Gates Ranch, permanently conserved by EVLT in 2007.
You have helped us protect land like
Hardscrabble Ranch , underwritten conserved properties like the East Vail Waterfall , and had a chance to win at
Cow Patty Bingo.

For every dollar we receive from donors, EVLT has created $13 in conserved land. That's nearly $69 million worth of land conservation because of you and the generosity of our other donors.

Whether you participated in Cow Patty Bingo or will attend the upcoming Garden to Glass and Farm to Fork, you help conserve more of the lands we love, building a permanent legacy for future generations.

While Farm to Fork is sold out, you can still find a few tickets to Garden to Glass, the mixologist competition on August 16th. We hope you'll join us - you'll be making a difference if you do.

Sincerely,

Jim Daus
Executive Director
Farm to Fork and Garden to Glass

While Farm to Fork is sold out, you can still sip the sweet moments of life at Garden to Glass. Garden to Glass is a cocktail reception unlike any other. Bartender contenders from 10th Mountain Whiskey, The Rose, Root & Flower, Terra Bistro, Vail Catering Concepts, and Pivot62 will compete head to head to create the most sensational cocktail featuring a single, locally sourced ingredient that will be announced next week. The venue overlooks the Eagle River valley and several of EVLT's permanently conserved properties.

Garden to Glass is August 16th. Tickets are available here.

And the Winners Are...

Cow Patty Bingo 2018 was a huge success this year featuring a great collaboration with the Eagle County 4-H Junior Livestock Auction at the Eagle County Fair and Rodeo. 11-year-old Alyah Ahring's Grand Champion steer "Chump" made a mess of things...as planned.

Melissa Gibbons is taking home $1,000 after the 4-H Grand Champion Steer pooped in her square. Lisa Nerio is walking away with $250 after a thrilling round of Bah Bah Bingo.

Thanks to everyone who bought a deed this year. Your contribution has helped EVLT protect land throughout the county.

Special thanks to our Title Sponsor, Alpine Bank , as well as to the 4-H Junior Livestock Auction Committee, Alyah Ahring, Alex Eichler, and Kelby Kaufman for providing the venue and champion steer and sheep for Cow Patty Bingo. Thanks also to our other sponsors including R.A. Nelson and Climax Molybdenum.

A Grand Champion steer and handler if there ever was one. Great work Kelby Kaufman. Thanks to 4-H for putting on an outstanding event.
