New Chairman

It is with sincere pleasure we would like to welcome our new SEDCC Chairman of the Board Ricardo Rodriguez. Ricardo’s talent, skills, and experience are impressive, and we are happy to have him as Board Chairman of the Southeast Dallas Chamber of Commerce.

SEDCC would like to thank our Immediate Past Chairman Lance Prothro. Chairman of the Board service is one of the toughest volunteer roles of all, and you performed it with dedication and tenacity. Mr. Prothro has been a steward of our organization and strength to this community.

Dallas County Testing Resources

COVID-19 testing is available at numerous sites throughout Dallas County, including local health centers, clinics, and pharmacies/grocery stores.

Below is a list of large scale testing sites operating in Dallas County:

Eastfield Campus is the DCHHS C-Vaccination site for all three vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna and J&J) including boosters.

Hours of operation: Tuesday-Saturday, 9a-6p, La Prada Entrance ONLY

Bulk trash needs to be set out the Thursday before your week. If the bulk trash is set out too early you may receive a fine. If your bulk trash was missed you may file a complaint by calling 311 or going HERE to file online.

HAVE YOUR TESTS DELIVERED- COVID-19 TESTS

The Postal Service is delivering one shipment of 4 COVID tests per residential address. Enter your name, address and email HERE to request a shipment. It is live now. COVID-19 tests will start shipping in late January. USPS will only send one set of 4 free at-home COVID-19 tests to valid residential addresses.
