Here is Stacy Baczkowski Dawson's post in TM23 FB Group:
"I would like to nominate Latavia Pettiford (better known to us as Ta’). Ta’ works at the range our AWA chapter meets at and she is awesome! She knew Corky and promised her that she would continue to come to The Mingle. Unfortunately, Ta’ has had some health problems that prevented her from being able to register before tickets sold out. She was heartbroken when she realized she would miss this year and has mentioned volunteering her services just to be able to honor her promise and be a part of The Mingle in some capacity.
Ta’ is an instructor and works with people of varying levels of shooting experience. The Mingle is a fantastic opportunity for any of the women in the industry to receive high level training and improve their skills and teaching abilities. As a gateway instructor The Mingle would strengthen Ta’s existing skills and allow her to better help her students and the ladies in our AWA chapter.
This scholarship would be a blessing for Ta’ and would mean a lot to her as well as be a bright spot she could really use given the year she has had so far.
