The Results Are In!

Thank you to everyone who voted in the CSCAZ Specialty License Plate Contest! You helped decide the design that you think best embodies the spirit of Cancer Support Community Arizona.

We invited four amazing local Arizona artists to submit designs and, wow, did they deliver. We are tremendously grateful to Tessa Nicole, Ray Goodluck, Tiesha Harrison and Frank Ybarra for lending their talents to this important initiative.

We had over 800 responses and such a close race! And the winner is.................................

Congratulations to Tessa Nicole!

Tessa Nicole, an Arizonan native, has coined a unique artistic style called textured pointillism. Tessa uses oils on canvas painting with a palette knife to bring nature and landscapes to life.

Regarding her inspiration that drove her rendition, Tessa said, “I have always associated CSCAZ with light; a light in a dark world. This rendition is a homage to both CSCAZ & Arizona, highlighting what they are best known for: a signature dramatic AZ sunset sky combined with the CSCAZ logo shining bright at the forefront, contrasted against the silhouette of Camelback Mountain. The license plate design features the color palette of our state flag, accompanied by the final detail of a proud saguaro cactus on the left-hand side.

Be Among the First To Purchase a Plate!

The next steps in this process is design approval from the State of Arizona which takes around four months. Small design changes may need to be made to be in compliance with state guidelines. The price of the plate will be $25 a year with $17 going directly back to CSCAZ's programs.

We will keep you updated when the plate is available for purchase, so that you can proudly show that you are a Cancer Support Community Arizona supporter. Thank you again for participating in our contest.
