Peter Sanchez enrolled at the Anderson School in 1982 to pursue a BBA in accounting. Unbeknownst to him, his time at Anderson would lay a foundation for a family legacy of not only a passion for higher education but specifically studying at Anderson and UNM.

Accelerator Program Starts in August

Anderson's Center for Responsible Entrepreneurship is offering an Accelerator Program this fall for entrepreneurs across all industries. The program begins on August 26.

Executive Speaker Series

The Executive Speaker Series invites successful Anderson alumni to share their career journeys and experiences with our students. It is designed for our students to gain inspiration for possible career paths after graduation. The series will continue this fall featuring two outstanding alumni.

UNM Alumni Green Chile Roast

The UNM Alumni Association will host the local chapter's local green chile roast in early October, featuring a food truck owned by an Anderson alum. Come check it out and support your fellow Anderson alumni!

Enrique Cruz Torres, MBA '21

A first-generation Mexican-American film producer, Enrique was raised in a Spanish-speaking household. He understood early the power of film and visual media as a universal language. He realized his dream career in the film industry by coupling a bachelor's degree in film and digital media with an Anderson MBA.

Anderson alum Ronald Westad, BBA '84, retired from Arizona Financial Credit Union June 30, after 36 years of service. For the last 27 years, was president and CEO. Congratulations, Ron on reaching this wonderful milestone and your very accomplished career!

Glen Millican, BBA '98, MBA '00 - two-time Anderson alum, has been named head of the men's golf program at the University of Missouri. Congratulations, Coach! Anderson wishes you the best of luck in your next endeavor.
