Deloitte Foundation Provides Scholarships 


Anderson announces its collaboration with the Deloitte Foundation in the Deloitte Foundation Accounting Scholars Program to fund the 2024-25 DFASP scholarship recipients. This year's 12 recipients received full tuition scholarships.

We welcomed our new Executive MBA Class of 2026. Their first courses began June 1, followed by an on-campus immersion week for orientation. This kicked off the new cohort’s 24-month program, which finishes in May 2026.

Anderson's Center for Responsible Entrepreneurship is offering an Accelerator Program this fall for entrepreneurs across all industries. The program begins on Sept. 7.


Applications are accepted through Aug. 15.

Amanda Armenta, BBA ’02 and MBA ’03, was promoted to community relations specialist at Sandia National Laboratory. Congratulations, Amanda!

Matthew Bernabe, BBA ‘15, and his business partner are now co-owners of Albuquerque’s historic Owl Café on Eubank. What a great example of Anderson alumni’s dedication and commitment to preserving the city’s history.  

Anderson alumnus Dan Brooks, BBA ‘12, has been appointed Optomec’s new vice president of finance. Congratulations, Dan, on your accomplishment! 

Since publishing “Just a Little Ditty” in 2021, Jack Cunningham, BBA ’68, has published five additional books of poetry, including “Heavenly Rhymes,” “Your Heart to Mine,” “My Heart to Yours,” “Ditties of Wit and Wisdom” and “Just a Dit of Wit and Wisdom” in 2024. 

Diné Development Corporation has added Anderson alum Bradley Preber, BBA ’81, and MBA student Mark Freeland to its board of directors. 

Alice Main, MBA ’23, has joined the City of Albuquerque as their new climate pollution reduction grant manager. Congrats, Alice!

Congratulations to Tim Reynolds, BBA ’01, who was named partner in charge of Carr, Riggs & Ingram's Southwest practice unit. 

Thornburg Investment Management has appointed William “Billy” Rogers, BBA ‘98, as their new chief operating officer. Congrats, Billy!

After graduating from Anderson, Scott Siler, BBA ‘88, started a 32-year journey as a Chick-fil-A franchisee. In 2020, he shifted his focus to helping people struggling with addiction and homelessness, leading him to create a nonprofit with his wife, Peloton of Hope. He is now supporting women in recovery in South Mississippi.
