Big A Opening Day, Anaheim Night at Ducks

It's that time of year, when Anaheim's sports worlds meet.

The 2025 Angels Baseball season is underway on the road with the team returning for their home opener on Friday, April 4.

The Angels take on the Cleveland Guardians at Angel Stadium of Anaheim for a weekend homestand.

Win or lose, there’s nothing like a hot dog, beer, ice cream helmet or whatever your favorite ballpark treat is at the Big A.

Across the freeway, the Anaheim Ducks are hosting Anaheim night on Wednesday, April 9, against the visiting Calgary Flames.

Anaheim residents can buy discounted tickets here, with terrace seats starting at $25 and plaza seats behind the glass starting at $68. And tell your friends — it's Anaheim night, but everyone's welcome.

See you there!

Save the date: Cinco de Mayo at Center Greens

Mark your calendars and heads-up for something a little different this year!

In early May, we're celebrating Cinco de Mayo with a one-day event at Center Greens Park in downtown.

With construction in final stages at La Palma Park, we're bringing the Cinco fun to our newest park.

Take note: We won't see our usual multiday carnival with rides but rather a day of family fun similar to our Día de los Muertos celebration each November.

So join us Saturday, May 3, from 3-9 p.m. for a day filled with family fun and cultural celebration for everyone.

The festivities include food for purchase, entertainment, vendors, community booths and a kids zone.

We look forward to bringing you a fantastic Cinco de Mayo celebration at Center Greens Park.

In 2026, we'll see the return of our Cinco de Mayo carnival at La Palma Park.
