THANK YOU!

You have helped us meet  the challenge of the Matching Gift.  Together you have turned $6,500 into $13,000!

A special thank you goes to our parents who raised
one-third of this matching amount!

Also, thanks to Francisco Bulgarelli who captures on film what together your gifts are doing.  See the new video featuring our young artists in action.

Soap, Rinse and Shine for ACAM Classes

Thirty eight ACAM students and parents scrubbed, vacuumed and polished cars in the Angelica parking lot from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 25.  Three students sold snacks to visitors and the hard-working crew.

Parents donated the soap, towels and cleaning supplies, and the  Zuniga and Ramirez families treated the crew to pizzas and beverages.

Documentary Short
about ACAM

Francisco Bulgarelli Zamora learned about Angelica Center for Arts and Music from his daughter, Julianna, ACAM's Teaching Artist for Ballet and Jazz Dance. Francisco, who has shot music videos, commercials, short films and features, was looking for a documentary project and thought ACAM would be a good subject and that we could use a current video.

At the end of May he spent hours filming interviews, students in classes and performances. The result is a short documentary.

Born in Costa Rica, Francisco enrolled at the Castella Conservatory Arts School at the early age of nine and continued his art studies at the University of Costa Rica and UCLA. Recently, he completed the features "Endgame," "Dreamer," and "Gortimer Gibbons" for Amazon.
Bulgarelli shows his camera to ACAM dancers.

According to Francisco:

" Cinematography is my craft and artistic pursuit. Using the medium to tell powerful stories about the human condition will always be my passion and aspiration."
