Good habits formed at youth make all the difference.
      - Aristotle

Our young artists are forming good habits as they study dance, music and theatre at Angelica Center for Arts and Music.

ACAM emphasizes positive youth development by engaging students and encouraging them to:
  • focus
  • persevere
  • solve problems
  • be creative
  • work as a team
  • be responsible
  • be confident
By practicing these life skills in their classes, they learn to use the skills and gain knowledge of what to do and why.  In addition, their desire and passion to create emerges!

Good habits formed as youth, hopefully will stay with them as they grow into adults.

Skirball
ACAM Visits Skirball

Skirball Center storytellers and musicians led ACAM students and parents through Noah's Ark.

On August 3, 34 students and 10 parents visited the Skirball Center of Los Angles.  They learned that many cultures have stories of the great flood.  Then they helped create the storm, build the ark, and talk to the many animals.  As a finale, everyone joined together to play percussion instruments from around the world.
