I have been a life-long fan of Edgar Cayce, the "Sleeping Prophet". In fact, there is a wonderful book about him, with that name. I have enjoyed my visits to Virgina Beach, to attend conferences at his Association for Research and Enlightenment (ARE). Today I signed up to receive daily words of wisdom from the Cayce archives. Love this quote by Mark Twain: "Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime."
