Greetings Osprey Community,

We deeply appreciate the conversations that have been spurred by this week's All School Meeting about our school culture and the letter we sent after the meeting. We would like to provide an opportunity for the dialogue to continue among parents, students and staff, and we will host an evening conversation on Monday, March 5; please mark your calendars now and plan to join us. Thank you to all the families who have reached out with feedback, appreciation and support in response to our decision to speak openly and directly about these challenging issues. As one parent put it, "We are proud to be part of the AHS family and will do all we can to help support the values and mission of the school."

We hope you will join Ally's sophomores for their Humanities exhibition The Truth of War this evening from 5:00 to 8:00 in the Commons, where they will immerse us in the Vietnam War era, helping participants understand the complexity of the conflict through multiple perspectives.

There is no school tomorrow as our staff will be engaged in professional development for the day, and no school on Monday due to Presidents' Day. We hope you all enjoy the long weekend!

Our next AHS Information Session is next Thursday, 5:30 to 6:30 on campus. Enrollment for the 2018-19 school year is open and current families will receive registration materials Marcy 1. New families must complete the online Intent to Enroll form by February 28 to be placed in the enrollment lottery. Siblings of current students or alumni are guaranteed a spot as long as they complete Intent to Enroll by February 28 and complete registration materials by March 15. Returning students must complete and return them by March 15 in order to claim their spot for the 2018-19 school year.

Enjoy the weekend and thanks for all you do to help the Ospreys soar!
