Store Stuff, News, and Tab Clearing
Funimation seems to slowly be getting things back on track with new product shipments. We got finally got all of our copies of
Arise 3-4 and got those shipped out to everyone this week, and
Fairy Tail 5 and
One Piece 7/3 and a few other things came in a little early. Frankly, as long as they get us the upcoming
Black Lagoon Premium sets on time, I'll be a happy camper. We have a LOT of those to ship out. Now they just need to catch up on catalog items. If you are noticing that a lot of older Funimation releases are suddenly pretty much stocked out nationwide, it's not your imagination. No worries though, that stuff is starting to trickle back in too so I'm pretty sure by this time next year we'll be right back on track.
Yes, it's true - we did, in fact, get several cases of Media Blasters
Ladies vs. Butlers release this morning - the DVD at least. The cover art that MB provided us for the web site a long time isn't quite right, so here is a snap of the actual product:
I'm told the BD should be following up in a week or two. This is a title that we have been taking pre-orders for for about a year and a half, so don't be surprised if you get pinged by us today for a shipment that you had completely forgotten about.

And finally, I had compiled a list of stuff a few weeks ago to insert in the newsletter this week for the big "Oct 21 2015" Back to the Future anniversary, but it looks like I'm not the only one who remembered and everyone else jumped on that bandwagon. So rather than be redundant, I have one thing from the movie that will out-do all those other listicles about how the future really turned out. The movie did get a few things right in that in the 80's people did dress a lot better and that no one in the future remembers who
Max Headroom was, but I bet you never expected it to hit this one right on the mark:

RACS Chocolate Coins Are Back!
Some Anime stores like to spend their time and money on empty content, but we'd rather spend ours on substance, and now that the weather has started to turn a bit cooler, I'm happy to announced that the RACS Chocolate Coins are back - and this time better than ever!
Made from delicious imported Belgian milk chocolate and embossed with Noemi's cute profile, we will be including them with order shipments beginning this week. This years batch comes in three different foil colors - red, blue, and green, but instead of just a color variation, we've gone a step further with three different flavors as well:
RACS Red = Belgian Milk Chocolate
RACS Blue = Belgian Dark Milk Chocolate
RACS Green = Belgian Dark Mint Milk Chocolate
I just hope we can get these shipped out to you guys and gals before we eat them all. Yum! :-)
