Marching Stars, Color Guard members, and families: this is it! We are down to the final hours of our Raise the Stars Campaign, and every donation helps sustain the high-quality band and color guard program we are proud to have at the Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders. These funds support the experiences, instruction, equipment, uniforms, travel opportunities, and resources that help our students shine both on and off the field.
Now is the time to send one more text, make one more social media post, and reach out to friends and family. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference and could help you win some amazing incentives!
Fundraiser Incentives
1. $100 Gift Card Raffle
Receive at least 5 donations and you’ll be entered into a raffle for a $100 gift card to the establishment of your choice! The more money our program raises overall, the more winners we’ll draw!
2. $200 Gift Card Raffle
Raise $300 or more and you’ll be entered into a raffle to win a $200 gift card of your choice!
3. Section Challenge
Bragging rights are on the line! The section that raises the most money will earn a catered meal party of their choice (within reason) during band or guard class.
4. Raffle for Pagosa Springs Vacation Home or Blazer Tag Pizza Party
Dreaming of the mountains? Every student who raises $300 earns one raffle entry for a 3-day, 2-night stay in a beautiful Pagosa Springs, Colorado vacation home (2 bedroom/2 bathroom with garage. Sleeps 6. Based on availability). For every additional $150 raised, you’ll earn another raffle ticket and another chance to win! Enjoy a relaxing getaway near the world’s deepest natural hot springs and the renowned Wolf Creek Ski Area.
Not a mountain getaway person? We’ve got you covered! Grab 9 of your favorite friends and get ready for an unforgettable party at Blazer Tag, home to the largest laser tag arena in Texas! Your epic celebration includes laser tag games, arcade tokens, pizza, unlimited drinks, a private party room, and plenty of fun and excitement for everyone!
5. Most Donations Wins!
The student who brings in the highest number of donations will win a $50 gift card of their choice! Remember, all those $5, $10, and $20 donations add up quickly. Must raise at least $50 to qualify.
6. The Ultimate Goal Challenge…Drum Roll please!!
If we reach our fundraising milestone of $20,000 by midnight on October 31st, our Marching Stars Section Leaders, Drum Majors, and the Marching Star who raises the most funds will get the honor of throwing whipp
ed cream pies in the faces of the Band Directors and Band Booster Leadership!
