Stage Two Opening - More Guidance

Hello Maryland AMTA Members in Anne Arundel County,

Finally - the update from Anne Arundel - they waited for me to send the last newsletter!

We have received the additional guidance from the Anne Arundel Health Department on Personal Service Business Reopening, which is allowed today at 5pm.

A summary of massage pertinent highlights - GO READ IT YOURSELF

1. No more than 1 person per 100 ft of office space
2. Appointment Only - No walk ins
3. Facemasks for therapist and client
4. Screen for COVID
5. No waiting room - call clients in when ready
6. Air Circulation and clean HVAC is important
7. Sufficient time between appointments for full sanitization procedures after each client
8. Gloves must be worn while cleaning
9. Laundry must be done at the end of the shift
10. Must have client contact information for contact tracing if needed
11. Hand Sanitizer must be readily available
